We’ll meet with you to discuss your candidacy for neuromodulator injections. After taking photographs and reviewing your goals and current condition, Dr. Mulhall will help determine if this treatment is right for you and develop a customized plan. Botox and Dysport are administered by injecting the formula into the underlying muscles of the face. The procedure lasts only 10-15 minutes. Most recipients describe the injection sensation as a slight pinch.

Recovery
The side effects of the procedure are minimal; you can return to your normal activities immediately but we will ask you not to lay down, wear headbands or ball caps, or do any heavy exercise for at least 4 hours after your treatment.

Cosmetic results take effect within 7-10 days, with some observable changes noticeable after only 48 hours. The effects of the injection generally last for 3-5 months. Results for muscles, TMD and pain can take a bit longer to take effect.
